NATIVE AMERICAN ZUNI FISHROCK COYOTE FETISH BY DANETTE LAATE

Description Zuni artist Danette Laate hand carved this wonderful fetish. The coyote carving is made out of Fishrock and is inlaid with Coral and Turquoise. The coyote is the Hunter of the West. The coyote is respected for his knowledge and survival skills, if not for his actions. The master trickster who often tricks himself. He represents humor and the ability to laugh at one’s own mistakes.
