Description The flower of salt smoked in the old traditional way! After drying, the white crystalline flakes (flower of salt) are smoked with beech wood, the old traditional way. It is added, as a final touch, to salads (tomatoes or boiled vegetables), to grilled meats, fish and vegetables, but also to wet or dry marinades. Its soft saltiness highlights the flavors, while its light smoke gives a smoky sensation to grilled foods, even if they have never been over charcoal. Vegetarians are used to it as a flavorful “substitute” for bacon, in eggs, pasta, baked potatoes and in vegetable soups. It is interesting to use it in chocolate desserts, on top of baked fruits (e.g. peaches) or even in cocktails (like the Bloody Mary or Mezcal Margarita). Hand harvested the traditional way. After the evaporation of the sea water in nature-made sea-water pools, salt is washed with pure water and is left to dry under the sun before being crushed into fine crystals. All-natural salt, without additives, produced through natural processes that retain its trace minerals. This is a vegan, gluten free product. Keep in a cool and dry place.
